2020 Ford Transit AWD

2020 Ford Transit 350 HR AWD EXT 148”

It is time to sell our adventure van that has served us well, and taken us to some incredible places. We got this van as a shell and have done all of the work ourselves, following a professional builders guide(https://faroutride.com/). The van itself is in great working condition, and it does have some scratches here and there on the exterior. But it was our camping rig, it fulfilled all our camping needs from 30 degrees at night to 80 degrees at night. Please read the details list below, and then the picture of the original window sticker in order to see all the factory options that it has.

1. 65,122 Miles(might go up a little bit)
2. Recently had rear brakes replace(both rotors and pads)
3. Recent visit to the Ford dealer ship to get everything checked out, and the only item noted was the rear brakes which were replaced.
4. New TPMS Sensors
5. 2 Key Fobs
6. Oil changed every 5000 miles
7. PLEASE READ: Rear Passenger Seat: Because this was not installed by the factory and is not a certified installed seat. The van will come with the seat and seat rails un-installed if you want them.

Exterior build:

1. Van Compass Stage 4 suspension kit installed and it rides amazing. Rear shocks are fully adjustable.
2. Flatline Van Low Pro Roof Rack
3. Fiamma F45s Awning
4. Nokian Outpost AT tires, amazing four season tires, Installed 10000 miles ago.

Interior build:

1. Insulation was a big focus. We used Killmat, Thinsulate, Havelock wool(where thinsulate couldn’t be used), and EZ-Cool on pillars and a few other areas. The flooring has two layers of Foamular rigid foam insulation board.
2. We used birch wood throughout the whole build. So the subfloor, furring strips, and wall and ceiling paneling are all birch wood.
3. Linoleum flooring, but we also use a big water proof mat in the main living room area.
4. Walls have Landau foam and then Tweed was glued. There are few areas of minor bubbling in the tweed where some glue did not adhere, but nothing major.
5. We strictly used all rivnuts for everything, to make sure we didn’t have to deal with self tapping screws coming loose. Rivnuts for furring strips, L Tracks, and securing electrical cabinet to van.
6. Wired for a webasto heater and comes with the van, but we never installed it as we never felt we needed it.
7. 8 ceiling lights
8. 4 reading lights with usb chargers( 2 in bed, and 2 in lounge seats
9. 2 SEEKR by Caframo Sirocco II
10. 2 maxx air fans
11. Bug Net for slider door
12. Flatline Van bed and mattress
13. 2 storage compartment bags
14. Scopema Swivels on both captains chairs
15. Dometic 95CFX fridge
16. Fire Extinguisher
17. Folding wall table, collapses down and folds against the wall
18. Rear garage organized that holds 8 totes, that slide in on a rail system
19. Full Set of insulated window covers for all windows and windshield

Electrical Build 400AH System:

1. 2 Renogy 200ah batteries
2. 2000w Renogy Inverter
3. 2 100w Renogy solar panels
4. Renogy DC-DC On-Board Battery Charger with MPPT
5. All Blue Sea Thermal breakers
6. 120v Circuit Breaker Panel
7. Blue Sea Fuse box
8. Marine Grade wire used to wire van along with Wago wire connecters and taped
9. Multiple DC outlets and 120v outlets within van
10. Alternator charger shutoff behind driver seat
11. Main Electrical system shutoff switch as well
12. The van is set up to charge by shore power, solar, or alternating charging.
13. Victron battery monitoring system

Cons:

1. Van has some scratches on the outside and a couple minor dents
2. The previous owner had a weboost mounted right about the slider door. You can see in pictures it was patched and painted. We had to remove the weboost in order to use awning.
3. Window trim in the living room is not a perfect fit. It is installed and works just fine, it just doesn't look perfect.
