Meet Merle! We bought Merle as an empty cargo van and purchased/closely followed Far Out Ride’s guides to building this our ourselves. A few different iterations before we found the right bed setup (it’s sturdy and cozy). A ton of care and $$$ went into the stuff you’ll never see (marine-grade electrical, bomb-proof waterproofing to avoid leaks and mold, insulation, etc). This comes with custom blackout shades for all windows and a second set of tires – Blizzak snow tires with less than 100 miles. 360 swivels on both front seats. Tons of USB, 9v and 110v outlets for all your gadgets. We’ve never run the batteries even close to empty. Never a peep from the engine, transmission, etc. – runs like a dream. HUGE garage for all the toys. So much more to say about Merle!
