This fantastic little stealth camper van parks anywhere a car can. Harriet is a professionally converted 2019, Ram Promaster City. She was converted in 2020 by Cascade Camper. She makes for a easy getaway trip. Since there is no power or water hookup, boon docking and stealth camping are a cinch. It’s a cozy little van, perfect for one or two.
Water: There is a sink and a 5 gallon water tank. Grey water drains out of a pipe in the bumper. We have a collapsable bucket that we used to collect grey water when camping at national parks.
House Battery: The house battery is a 75 amp hour AGM battery. Along with the charge from the solar panel, the house battery system charges while being driven. There is an isolator that breaks the link between the house battery and the car battery when the van is not running so that the house battery will only rely on the solar panels for recharge when parked.
Solar Panels: The solar panel is a 100 watt solar panel that is almost completely flush with the roof of the van, making the van less obvious for stealth camping purposes.
Inverter: the inverter is a 400 watt inverter.
The bed is 42″ wide and 6’4″ long.
We used this camper primarily as a camper van rental for the last year as we could no longer take her on trips ourselves now that we have a toddler. (This is a two seater van). Prior to July 2022, we took trips as well as renting her on outdoorsy. She has been kept in excellent condition with all service records available to interested buyers.
