Thoughtful off-grid van build for two by an electrical engineer and a finish carpenter!

We spent a year planning (including a full 3d model), 4.5 months building, and three years traveling full-time in this incredible home! We utilized space cleverly, maximizing utility while maintaining a beautiful, livable interior. Our travels affirmed nearly all of our design decisions, but the few shortcomings we found, we upgraded while we retouched the interior to like new condition to get ready to sell!

• Less common selling pointsStealth: The driver’s side and rear have no windows. A skylight & sliding door window allow natural light while maintaining privacy. The solar panels aren't visible from ground level.
• Tall Person Friendly: Drew is 6'3", so the van was built to accommodate that height. He can stand tall and walk in the van, sit and work comfortably, and sleep fully outstretched.
• Unique raised bed/dinette design maximizes storage while maintaining usability with minimal conversion hassle
• Large “garage” storage fits bikes and rubbermaid totes stacked 2 high
• The (interior) “dinette” storage of the van is large enough to store our backpacks, kitchen appliances, groceries, and camera gear
• Laundry chute from interior to garage
• Simple Electrical/Plumbing Layout: All electrical/plumbing is on one side of the van and every connection is accessible from inside
• A “Van Build Owner'' Manual will be passed to the new owner with manuals for every device in the van
