“Starla” is a professionally built, one of a kind, luxury sprinter van from Sunshine Conversions.
The concept for this build was to combine the aesthetic of a 70s retro van with the comforts and amenities of a modern camper van. The exterior sets the entire vibe of this van off with a custom three tone candy paint job along with a durable rhino liner in the high wear areas such as the roof, hood, and grill.
“Starla” rests and rides on brand new wheels and tires. She also features a backup camera, turbo diesel, and cruise control. The interior of the vehicle features custom upholstery including a diamond tuft bench seat that wraps around a gorgeous purple flake dinette table. A genuine leather partition, with glow-in-the-dark thread transitions the living area into the crushed purple velvet bedroom. Amidst the purple velvet ceiling of the bedroom is a programmable starlight headliner, giving the user a truly one of a kind experience as every night in “Starla” is under the stars. “Starla” has a wonderful amount of space and storage. Overhead storage above the driver/passenger seats, under bench storage, 2 upper cabinets, 4 drawers, and a custom 4’ x 4’ pull out drawer storage underneath the bed, built on drawer slides capable of holding 300 lbs.
The audio system installed in this van uses a touch screen display to connect the front speakers to the rear speakers and subwoofer. Audio can also be played from the rear speakers and subwoofer via a Bluetooth adapter without the engine running. Open the slider door and enjoy your favorite tunes anywhere you go. A Webasto diesel heater makes this van enjoyable even during the colder months. Fresair AC system in the bedroom and Maxx air Fan in the kitchen area provide fresh air during the warmer months. There are many different special lighting features throughout the interior of “Starla” that create a very special ambience and vibe from the front to the back. Functional lighting, such as the puck lights over the kitchen, overhead lighting in the ceiling and 2 reading lights in the bedroom are there for whenever you need a little extra lighting. We built “Starla” to be unlike anything anyone has ever seen. An exquisite and eclectic combination of the old school “Shaggin’ Wagon” and modern camper van. “Starla” is a special van in every way.
