2019 Mercedes Metris ADF Upfitted Pop Top Camper Van

This 2019 Mercedes Metris, unfitted by Automotive Design & Fabrication (ADF), is the perfect vehicle to experience the van life while also serving as your daily driver. Not only can you live off the grid, but you can also park it in your garage, and go through drive thru’s- not possible with Sprinters. 

The camper van seats and sleeps four. Both the driver and passenger seats swivel. The back seat can be moved forward and back with button controls, and can be laid flat to make a comfortable bed. The pop top can be easily lifted due to its hydraulic shocks. It can be put in two positions- up against the roof, providing massive headroom below, or in the down position, to comfortably sleep two. The pop top has two mesh windows, providing fresh air and a true camping experience. 

In terms of technology, it has a 100 amp hour lithium battery, 90w Solar panel, and shoreline hookup for RV parks. There are 4 240V outlets and 3 USB ports. In addition, it has a Webasto heater that nicely warms up the vehicle without the engine on. It also has bright LED lights on the external back panels, which provide safely and convenient lighting in dark camping situations. 

In the kitchen, it has a Dometic fridge/freezer and propane range. The 18 gallon water tank is perfect for washing dishes and hands. 

The Metris is ready for those dirt access roads with a 2 inch lift, making way for knobby Goodyear all terrain tires. 

It includes a Fiamma retractable awning, and there is extensive custom cabinetry, perfect for storing camping and cooking equipment. 

The Metris is RWD, with a 2.0 liter inline V4, and has been upgraded with cruise control. Unlike many Metris models, it has two electric sliding doors and custom screened venting windows. 

Being that it is a cargo van, it has massive cargo capacity and can fit large objects by folding down the back seat. It has received all of its required services by Mercedes. A Yakima hitch mounted bike rack has been added.
