2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 4×4 170″ EXTENDED — 14,103 MILES — OWL VANS UPGRADES + COMPLETE UNINSTALLED SOLAR SYSTEM
This is an exceptionally low-mileage 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 4×4 170″ Extended cargo van with only 14,103 miles.
I purchased the van with the intention of completing a high-end adventure/overland conversion but never got around to doing the build. The van therefore remains a clean, unconverted factory cargo van, giving the next owner a blank canvas without having to remove or undo someone else’s conversion.
In addition to the van and the professionally installed upgrades, the sale includes a complete, brand-new/uninstalled LightHarvest solar and electrical system. The system was purchased for $5,517.40 and includes the major components needed to build a substantial off-grid electrical system.
INCLUDED LIGHTHARVEST SOLAR / ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- 360W Solaria Power XT-360R-PD monocrystalline solar panel
- SRNE ML2430 30A digital MPPT solar charge controller
- Three Lion Safari UT 1300 105Ah 12V LiFePO4 batteries
- Cotek SL-2000-112 2,000W pure sine wave inverter/charger
- Cotek CR-20 remote
- Sterling Power BB1230 12V/30A DC-DC alternator charger
- Progressive Dynamics PD50K3Q2GP AC/DC panel
- Ferraz Shamut 310A distribution blocks
- Eaton high-amperage manual-reset circuit breakers
- MEGA and MIDI/LMI/AMI fuse holders and fuses
- Complete assortment of appropriately sized welding cable, MTW/tray cable and lug terminals
The entire solar/electrical package is included with the sale and has never been installed. It provides the next owner with a substantial head start on an adventure-van or off-grid conversion while still allowing them to design the interior around their own needs.
Other items included with the sale that were purchased but never installed:
Owl Vans Stainless Steel Exhaust (still in box), two (2) MaxxAir MAXXFAN Deluxe fans in smoke with trim pieces, a Mercedes factory three passenger bench seat with rails, an Espar/Eberspacher Diesel Heater Kit, two (2) bundels of Havelock Wool Batt Insulation, a Lagun Table mount (in box), a Furrion Single induction cooktop, a Vancillary DIY headliner shelf kit, a Terra Wagen Aero Hood Spoiler.
I included a few pictures from when I purchased it from Mercedes Benz of Lexington. I removed the wall panels and factory floor in the cargo area to add sound deadening but never replaced them. I still have all of it and it will be included in the sale.
OWL VANS / VEHICLE UPGRADES
- Owl Vans 47-gallon fuel tank
- Owl Vans Low Bass Horn
- Owl Vans Hood Strut Kit
- VanTech Roof rails
- 36″ x 16″ bunk windows (2)
- Driver-side sliding window in cargo area professionally installed by Mercedes-Benz
- Trigger Six Shooter controller
- Baja Designs driving/fog lights
- Trailer Hitch (no electronic hook up)
RECENT MAINTENANCE
- Brand-new tires
- New brakes
- New rotors
- Two of four prepaid Mercedes scheduled maintenances completed at Mercedes Benz Buffalo. I am not sure if the other two will transfer but we can find out.
14,103 miles • 4×4 • 170″ Extended • Unconverted Cargo Configuration
This is a particularly appealing opportunity for someone looking for a very low-mileage 4×4 Sprinter as a foundation for their own adventure van build. Rather than buying an already-converted van and paying for somebody else’s design, the new owner gets a clean slate plus a substantial amount of high-quality equipment already included.
