Selling my 2019 Ford Transit Connect cargo van with 116,000 miles and a completed camper conversion. A compact, practical option for weekend camping, road trips, or someone looking for a smaller van that’s easier to drive and park than a full-size camper van.
Camper features include:
- Fully insulated interior
- Maxxair reversible roof fan for ventilation and airflow
- 75” x 25” sleeping platform
- Auxiliary battery powering the ceiling lights and roof fan
- Portable toilet
The van is in good running condition. I have never missed a routine maintenance and have had it done every 5000 miles rather than the Ford recommended 10,000 miles, which really surprised me when I purchased the vehicle new. The transmission was replaced just prior to the powertrain warranty expiring, thank goodness, and I have driven another 58,000 miles with no issues on the new transmission.
The NannyFrannyVan has taken me on many fabulous road trips to national parks across the country, but definitely not as many as you see from the photo. The van was stolen and recovered in less than 48 hours. The fool scraped all of my organic stickers off the back but didn’t change the license plate, so he was arrested at gunpoint a day and a half later. My friends gave me a bunch of stickers to cover the scratch marks on the back doors. There was also some minor body damage to the passenger rear quarter panel that occurred during the theft and was expertly repaired by a friend that does bodywork.
The conversion provides a simple, functional camping setup without the cost or effort of starting a build from scratch. The size of the sleeping platform is a perfect fit for the 4″ thick trifold mattress of the exact same size, which I also will include with the sale. Add a cozy sleeping bag and you are good for any weather!
There is a dent in the front quarter panel on the passenger side and two tiny dents on the passenger side rear door.
