2019 Ford Transit 250 – Off-Grid Mobile Basecamp (Lithium / Solar)

I’m selling my 2019 Ford Transit 250 (148″ WB, mid-roof, RWD) which I converted to serve as a reliable, high-capacity mobile basecamp, even though we are highway campers. We have taken it, literally, all across the country, including exploring Alaska.

This van was designed intentionally for simplicity, reliability, and easy maintenance. We built it for the way we actually travel, spending our days outside in nature. By using portable kitchen gear rather than fixed appliances, we’ve kept the interior flexible to maximize usable living space. It has allowed us to cook and dine at a picnic table or under the stars, keeping the van’s interior open and clean, while providing a massive amount of gear storage.

I over-built the electrical system so we wouldn’t have to worry about needing hookups or generators.
