Description
Weekender off-grid ready! Could easily be full-time rig for the right person or luxury glamper with a few small additions.
Willing to deliver and make additions if negotiated.
Functional with plenty of storage and neutral enough to add your own style.
I lived in the van while traveling for work for 6 months in 2021 and had plenty of time to “stare at the walls” making adjustments to maximize space and functionality.
Structure
Medium Roof – Can stand up fully if 5′ 7″ or shorter.
3/4″ Plywood attached with 1/4″ Rivet nuts to vehicle frame/body
Custom cabinets built from 3/4″,1/2″, 1/4″ plywood.
LVP was installed over the factory floor and the existing vents were cut out to utilize the existing rear heat system blowing from underneath the front passenger seat (car must be running).
The auxilary/rear AC unit was also utilized by fabricating factory ducts/vents. This comes out near the bed and is controlled up top between the driver/passenger seats (car must be running).
Window covers have the SM400L thinsulate on one side, reflectix on the other and are covered by ripstop nylon.
Thinsulate SM600L Insulation in walls and ceiling.
RMAX Polyiso 1-inch used in flooring
2×6 Bed Support Rails attached with 4 x 1/4″ bolts each side
Bed – 2×4 frame with intermediate supports and 3/4″ slats, 60″ x 68″ mattress fits a slightly modified short queen. Frame and mattress cut in half with a piano hinge connecting the frame to allow for Futon mode (single) or a double sleeper. (I am 6’1″ and could just fit sleeping side to side.
360 degree Swivel on Front Passenger seat only
2 – Person seating on bench above fridge/electrical.
Electrical
Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100v 20amp Solar Charge Controller (Bluetooth)
Vicron Energy BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor
Sterling BB1260 – 12 Volt, 60 Amps – Pro Batt Ultra Battery to Battery Charger (Tops up batter from nearly dead in about 45mins to 1hr driving)

2 x Individual switch reading lights above bed
USB rechargeable magnetic light with motion sensor/on/off above sink

Easy up tent (shower/toilet/change room)
Dual bowl stainless steel sink with pull down/spray faucet
Can use pull down faucet as an outdoor shower with hook magnet attached outside sliding door
On/Off sink pump kill switch.
Removeable/Refillable/Replaceable – 7 gallon Reliance Aqua-Tainer(walmart square blue jugs)
5 gallon removeable grey water tank under sink for easy access. Both attached with cam straps for convenience.
Thinsulate/Reflectix/Ripstop Nylon – Window Covers for all (Magnetic/Velcro)
Considerations
Minor dent in paneling just behind driver door/fuel fill up (no paint or rust damage). It would be a great place to add shore power plug-in if desired as the battery electrical box/battery is just behind the drivers seat.
I have used a 10amp DC plug-in inverter to charge my laptop. Plenty of space to add an additional battery and inverter if requested (additional labor/material charge) or desired.
Canopy – I have used suction cup carabiners to rig up a 10×12 hammock tarp as a canopy. I also have adjustable telescoping poles w/ guy lines if trees are not available. (Can be negotiated into price or a more permanent canopy mounted if desired)
APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE AS THE SQUIRREL PILLOW IS NOT INCLUDED
ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS PLEASE DON’T HESITATE TO ASK. WILL POTENTIALLY CONSIDER DELIVERY AND/OR MEETING TO VIEW.
