This converted 2018 Dodge Promaster City 1500 was built out by Voyager Campervans of Minneapolis, MN, in 2021 in the style of their Minny Campervan, with our requested modifications.
The Promaster City is 15’8″ long, 6’2″ high and 6′ wide, allowing it to be parked in any common parking space, including a standard home garage. The exterior is bright white with black bodyside moldings, the cloth bucket seats are black.
The 2.4L engine and automatic transmission with overdrive has less than 35,000 miles and gets 25+ mpg highway fully loaded. 16 gallon fuel tank for approx. 400 mile range. 160 amp alternator, airbags, halogen headlamps, full-size spare tire and jack, low tire pressure warning, ABS and traction control, back-up camera, LCD monitor with UConnect radio and Bluetooth.
The standard Minny build-out has a light wood panelling and non-skid grey flooring. It includes a couch that converts to a bed, shelving and storage, a slide-out table, Butane burner, 5 gallon electric pump potable water with sink and faucet, interior DC lights, 400 watt DC to AC inverter with DC and AC outlets, 12 V Dometic drawer fridge, two way ceiling Maxxair fan, 100 watt solar roof panel, and all-around privacy curtains.
Unique to our campervan are a 100 Ah Renogy lithium battery, tinted pop-out side windows with screens, rear door windows and rear opening screens, Vevor bolted-in safe, portable camp cassette toilets with case, and Vantech roof crossbars.
This campervan has taken us comfortably and affordably across the USA, camping from the Midwest to the Southwest. It has a clean accent history (a careless vehicle or two parked next to us did make a couple of shallow dents in the passenger door). It’s a great compact camper for solo or two-person adventuring.
