Roomy adventure van build with four belted seats and space for 4 bikes, multiple storage bins, hanging clothes, and much more. Standard Queen sized platform bed (60×80) has a rear lift with gas struts to allow easy access to everything stored underneath. The bed lifts from the front as well allowing access to two large storage areas or the flip down countertop. There is a foot pump operated sink with a three stage filtration system and a Dometic fridge/freezer to keep you stocked up. From the sliding door two extremely comfortable bucket seats with swivels and quick releases sit next to each other. They are accompanied by an unfolding table large enough for four people to eat at or play games. There is a blackout curtain to separate the front seats from the rest of the build. Each window has its own magnetic blackout shade, and each window that opens has a screen that fits it.
The Van is insulated with layers of Killmat, 3M Thinsulate and Reflectix on the ceilings and walls. All doors have Killmat, and Noico 150mil on the exposed metal as well as 3M Thinsulate in the door cavities. Front doors also have a layer of EZCool behind the door panels. On the floor of the rear compartment are two layers of XPS foam board. Under front cabin seats and flooring are layers of Killmat and EZCool. All exposed metal was covered with either EZCool or Noico 150mil.
Cosmetically both side mirrors have cracks in the turn signal housing. The drivers side rear door magnet was sheered off. There is a golf ball sized dent in the back upper corner of the drivers side. The third brake light housing covers began coming off, so we covered them in gorilla tape. There is a 3” scratch on the rear right door and a 1” scratch on the sliding door.
Mechanically this van runs and drives great. The additional leaf springs and shocks give it a relaxed and comfortable ride. With the seats and fridge removed it easily converts to a moving van. It is ready to be used as is or remodeled to fit your needs. It has driven us back and forth across the country, and been the perfect tiny home to return to while on the road. It has been well loved and used, but there is so much life left and it still has a Ford warranty!
