2018 Ford Transit 2WD

A few years ago, I bought this 2018 Ford Transit van from the original owner who had started converting it into an adventure van. Due to some unexpected changes in his life, he had to stop the project shortly after beginning.

I completed the build with the features and amenities I wanted in an adventure van. It has off-road ready BFG KO2 tires and a suspension system from Van Compass. The cabinets and counter are on their second revision, as I made adjustments to better fit the van and improve its functionality. The interior is designed for comfort and practicality, making it suitable for long trips, weekend getaways, or full-time van life. This van is also equipped to tow additional gear. It features a Detroit True-Trac limited-slip differential for enhanced off-road performance. The van has been well maintained and kept in a garage, and with only 56,000 miles, the motor is barely broken in.

My wife and I have recently decided to purchase a house closer to our kids. As much as we love the adventures and the freedom this van provides, our priorities have shifted towards spending more time with our family. We don’t plan to use the van much from this point forward, and it deserves to be with someone who will enjoy and utilize it to its full potential. This van has been a labor of love, and we hope it brings as much joy and adventure to its next owner as it has to us.
