Meet Baxter!!

Baxter was custom designed and built by a professional van builder, Nirvana Upfitters, in Leominster, MA.

The van was designed with adventure in mind. It is well equipped for full-timers or weekend warriors and has everything you need for off the grid and four-season adventures.

The van is extremely well insulated with Rockwool and equipped with an Espar heater and high altitude kit, so you can adventure all year round!! The van also comes with custom made insulated, blackout, magnetic curtains by Moohah Creatives! The set includes curtains for the full front of the cab, both side windows and both rear windows.

The garage holds a 25 gallon fresh water tank, water pump and filter as well as the electrical set up. Even still there is plenty of room for storage! I kept all my gear for hiking, backpacking, skiing and a paddle board in the garage still had room for 2 camp chairs, tire chains and other miscellaneous items. On the back of the door you’ll find a hot water heater and outdoor shower!

The van has two 200amp hour batteries charged by a massive 425W solar panel on the roof. There are two backup sources to charge the house batteries with a shore power connection and a battery to battery charger (to charge while driving).

The kitchen is fully equipped with a 12 volt stainless steel Isotherm fridge/freezer, 2-burner propane stove, pull-down faucet, deep sink and counter mounted soap dispenser. The beautiful butcher block counter top provides ample space for preparing your meals. A table pulls out from under the bed if you prefer to eat at a table and also doubles as a desk during the day. The custom-built cabinets were designed to provide plenty of space for food and kitchen-ware.

Additional storage space includes cabinets over the bed for clothes and a large overhead shelf above the driving area. The bench houses a Nature’s Head Composing Toilet, which is my opinion is a necessity, and allows plenty of room for odds and ends.
