Fresh off a divorce, I built this van and entered my glorious mid-life crisis with myself and two dogs, for the trip of a lifetime.
Unfortunately, it’s back to civilian life for me and I’m thrilled to give someone else the opportunity to find themselves out in nature.
Storage: Holy storage Batman there is plenty! Huge garage under bed that is big enough for a medium dog crate plus a TON of other stuff. Can provide 2 storage containers with 3 drawers each that already fit. 2 Large overhead storage cabinets over the bed that are tall and deep. These provided ample storage for all of my clothes and then some. Built in shelving above the cockpit for extra storage.
Electrical: Electrical system was professional installed by a wonderful company here in NC. Can provide all paperwork. Includes a 2000W inverter and is set up for shore power. So if you love a campsite, you are all set! Two main task lights with switches and 2 wall outlets. MaxAir 7500 fan towards the back of van over the bed. Walls are covering electrical system in a plank cedar that is insulated.
Kitchen: Beautiful raw wood countertops. Foot pedal sink provided that allows for 5 gallons of clean water to be stored that will empty into 5 gallon gray water storage. 3 huge drawers & 2 huge overhead storage cabinets with lip. Collapsible countertop extension for when you need extra countertop space. Blue backsplash for some color! Will provide the huge yeti cooler that served as my cold storage as well as a bench! One of my favorite additions!
Bathroom: custom wood housing with raw wood edge cover will fit your camping toilet perfectly. Also makes for the perfect step stool to get into your raised bed.
Flooring: One of the best decisions I made was opting for a compressed rubberized flooring. So much easier to clean and I never worried about damaging it. HIGH DURABILITY. With two dogs, it was a must!
And probably the best part of the van is the HIGH ROOF. I thanked my lucky stars everyday for splurging on this part. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY! I cannot imagine having to live in that space hunched over.
Misc Extras: will provide window covers, 2 USB powered fans, a solar outdoor shower, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, electrical stove, hot water, Rinse kit portable shower with heating rod, full foam mattress with cover (length cut to size to fit)
