This Sprinter was purchased by my wife and me to build out a custom RV/Van Life platform. I had a professional mechanic and shop spec and install an AM Solar (amsolar.com) designed custom electrical kit for this sprinter van in January 2022. The design of the system is to allow for off grid electric service.
This van has never been camped in, the new AM Solar system charges while driving or from shore power. It has a total of 400Ah between two (2) 200Ah low temperature Life Blue Batteries, Victron DC to DC charging, Victron smart battery protection, Victron MultiPlus 3000W Inverter/Charger, with alternator charging and RV/Residential charging. Solar charging is an option and can be added with a few AM Solar components.
This Sprinter is a prime candidate to complete a personalized buildout into an RV/Van Life vehicle or maybe you are a business/contractor that needs dedicated electricity on mobile job sites. The electrical system is up and running and you can currently plug in 110V or 12V as it is currently built (it is also expandable). You will also see in the photos that we put in a few LED puck lights to show capability. I can send more pictures, and am available to do a virtual walk around, and answer questions prior to a test drive. It really is an amazing platform that looks great and drives great.
