The interior was remodeled in January 2024 with all new cabinetry. It is fully insulated with Havelock wool, and has Kilmat sound deadener.
The passenger seat swivels into the living space when parked. We prioritized an open feel, putting the couch in front of the sliding door. The slider has a window with a small awning style vent that can be left open in rain. The driver’s side has a large window with an opening slider. There is a small bunk window at the head of the bed for ventilation. Insulated window covers included for all windows except bunk window.
Mechanically, the van is excellent. The exhaust manifolds (known issue) were replaced at 115,000 miles. The throttle body was replaced at 136,000 miles. You will receive the van with fresh service and a pre purchase inspection. Of course, we encourage you to inspect the van yourself in any way you wish.
The van has been all over the US and Baja and has earned minor scars. We would rate the body at 7.5/10. Everything functions as it should, with the exception of the latches for swinging away the rear doors. The windshield is flawless, having been replaced last year. All other glass is excellent and operational.
The van is very livable and if we weren’t changing up our traveling style we would keep it.
