My tiny Aussie and I just returned from a 9 month trip to the West Coast and back in this beautiful and cozy home on wheels. As I try to figure out where I plan to settle down, I have decided to list my amazing adventure van for sale so that someone else can enjoy the freedom I experienced traveling the US. Below are all of the features of this amazing van that I purchased from a builder in Idaho in 2021. Both of us will be availabe to answer any questions anyone has so feel free to reach out directly to me.
CHASSIS:
2015 Ford Transit 350, high roof, extended version with the powerful twin turbo ecoboost engine. It comes with all the standard equipment commonly found on the Ford Transit and the following upgrades that make traveling more enjoyable, cruise control, backup camera, hands free phone via bluetooth, air conditioning, heavy duty towing package, 10 ply tires with full size spare.
INSULATION:
Kilmat sound deadening
Havelock wool
Minicell foam
Thinsulate Acoustic/Thermal insulation EZ-Cool heat and sound insulation
Sound deadening is applied to the main metal surfaces throughout the van to help reduce the amount of vibration and road noise. Several different kinds of insulation are used because some are more suitable for different applications such as the floor, ceiling, small holes & spaces, larger areas and for use as a separation barrier between framing structures or items attached to the metal frame of the van.
FLOORING:
Minicell foam – 2 layers
1⁄2” birch plywood
Lifeproof finish flooring – waterproof
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:
600 Watt Renogy monocrystalline solar panels mounted on roof rack 4 -100 Ah Battle Born lithium batteries, 400 Ah total

The lithium batteries can be charged via 3 different methods:
1 – The 600 watt solar panels
2 – Engine alternator while driving, and
3 – An exterior power source such as a common household outlet or campground electrical connection.

LED spot lights outside on drivers, rear and passenger side.
Dimmable LED lights for the main cabin & bathroom areas.
4 – a/c outlets – 2 in the kitchen, 1 in the garage and 1 by sliding door for outside use. 5 – 12 volt charging ports
4 – USB charging stations
2- Acegoo reading lights, one on each side above the bed
2 – LED lights to light up the garage area
Water pump and water heater each have their own switch for easy operation
CORE PLUMBING SYSTEM:
Bosch ES4 – 4 gallon water heater
Shurflo automatic demand water pump
Accumulator tank
Pex pipe and brass fittings throughout
Easy turn Pex ball valves
PLUMBING TANKS:
40 – gallon fresh water tank 20 – gallon shower gray tank 7 – gallon sink grey tank
All of the tanks have a gauge and sensor unit installed to easily monitor the tank levels. The two undermount grey tanks have electric ball valves that can be operated by switches in the cabin thus eliminating the hassle of reaching under the van to turn the valves manually. The undermount tanks are secured in place using stainless steel hardware and aluminum supports to help reduce the chance of any rust.
PLUMBING FEATURES:
The shower has a Moentrol shower valve so you can control the temperature as well as the pressure. An upgraded Oxygenics shower head that reduces the amount of water usage while continuing to supply good pressure.
The undermount Dawn BS161609 stainless steel kitchen sink is 9” deep by 17” X 17” wide, it is big enough to wash large cooking pans and has a built-in drain strainer to easily catch any food or debris from entering the drain system.
The kitchen faucet is the upgraded Kohler swivel style with pull out spray nozzle. This is not the cheap $80 faucet you see in many van conversions; it cost around $300.
The garage area comes equipped with a hot and cold Dura exterior spray faucet, It can be adapted to use as an outdoor shower or to clean bikes or other equipment.
KITCHEN:
The kitchen cabinet has plenty of storage with 10 drawers and one pop out tray. It is topped with real professionally cut and installed marble countertops. The main counter is 60” x 24” and the smaller one is 25” x 24”. Even though drawers are more expensive and time consuming to make, they are much more efficient for storage and use than cabinets. The 10 drawers are constructed of baltic birch, both glued and dadod for added strength. They come faced with the popular shaker style fronts and even include the upgraded soft close drawer slides. There is also an integrated soap dispenser so you don’t have to worry about a soap bottle moving around during your travels.
We opted for the convenience and worry free safety of “no propane”, We prefer the use of an electric induction cooktop and airfryer for easy cooking and of course an outdoor grill or fire pit when available.
The Isotherm 130 liter stainless steel fridge is the best you can buy. It’s big, energy efficient, won’t ice up and looks amazing. This is the $1,800 – $2,000 model. We also built in a drawer under the fridge to lift it off the ground making it more accessible and user friendly.
Lightweight glass tile is used for the backsplash over the sink and fridge counters, it makes clean up a breeze and adds a nice finishing touch to compliment the stainless steel fixtures, grey & white marble countertops and the white shaker style cabinets.
Bathroom
The bathroom comes with a 32” x 24” shower. It is protected by the popular waterproofing “Kerdi board system” and is finished with ceramic mini white subway tiles (not the peel and stick tiles) and matching accented inlays.
Airhead composting toilet – These toilets have become very popular in recent years because it allows you to eliminate black tanks and all the hassles that come with them.
Stoett self cleaning shower doors are considered the top of the line, so of course this bathroom comes with one. They fully retract when not in use helping give a more open feel to the living space, are fully watertight to keep all the water in the shower area and even clean themselves after every use.
MISCELLEANOUS ITEMS:
MaxxAir Deluxe fan 7000K with thermostat, rain shield and remote control. This fan comes with 10 speeds, many automated features and bi-direcctional functions.
2- Gimbal fans, one over the bed and one facing the kitchen or sitting area. These come with multiple speeds, timers and are very versatile because the fan can be turned to blow air in any direction.
Swivel seats – both the drivers and passenger seats have the Scopema seat swivels installed. These swivels are expensive because they are built very strong and sturdy, they have tight tolerances which prevent the moving and rocking motion common in cheaper alternatives. They also maintain a low profile so the height of the seat is minimally affected which alleviates the drivers knees from being too close to the steering wheel and forward dash area.
For privacy there is a pull curtain behind the driver and passenger seats for quick privacy if you just stop to take a nap or eat lunch.
Webasto Air Top 2000 STC Heater with MultiControl HD
