2014 Ram Promaster 3500 EXT – Full Time Adventurer Conversion

For sale is my personal Promaster 159 EXT/Extended Conversion that I built myself and lived in for two years. Clean title in hand. Full synthetic oil was changed on time, every time.

Just put brand new rotors and pads on September 2022. Also changed brake fluid.

Brand new tires April 2023 – Roadian CT8 HL. 1500 miles or less. I also have a set of Nokian Hakkapeliitta CR3’s on separate wheels I can add if interested.

In regards to the build, everything has been perfect, I replaced a single circuit breaker a year or so but no other fixes/repairs to the original build. The van has some road noise on our rough SLC city streets but is nice and quiet on modern roads & highways.

General build specifications:

• SuperSprings aka SumoSprings front and rear to assist with crosswinds and greatly improve ride quality
• 2x 175W Solar panels (350W total) and 3x100AH (300AH total) AGM batteries. Victron BMV 712 Battery Monitor – bluetooth campatible.
• Apple Carplay compatible JVC head unit with backup camera
• Garmin Mini dash cam
• All cabinetry uses high quality baltic birch plywood and high quality boards for cabinet faces etc.
• All load boarding parts are secured via plus nuts (NOT rivnuts).
• Polyiso boards for most of the insulation with thinsulate in areas with factory wiring. I used some spray foam but did not anywhere with moving parts, wiring, etc.
• Diesel heater ‘CDH’ with thermostat. Hands down my favorite part of the van. Keep the van as warm as you want during winter.
• CR Laurence (CRL) T-Vent slider window and crew window (passenger side). These are high end windows.
• MaxxFan in front (great airflow when you open the rear or side window). Includes magnetized cover to block light/road noise.
• Lagun table with two mounts – one for a standing desk and on the side of the couch
• USB-C docking station behind desktop monitor. I worked a corporate job out of this van. Great for watching movies.
• Huge storage for pots/pans/anything above the diesel heater zone.
• Passenger swivel
• Composting toilet. I built this myself, it is less than half the size of the Nature’s Head (common brand name) and works precisely the same. Exhaust fan to outside is controlled by an on/off button. Zero smell. It is spotlessly clean. Can remove altogether if you’re not into it or want more storage.
• Blackout covers for ALL windows (front window cover is thicker/ insulated with thinsulate). Hand sewn by a great seller on Ebay, I did not make these. Completely stealth if you are trying to be low key somewhere.

Kitchen features:

• Very deep 15×17 stainless steel sink, faucet pulls out for doing dishes. On/off switches for water pump and propane solenoid
• Real butcher block countertop, I never cut directly on it. You absolutely can if you choose to, it is treated with food safe wood sealant.
• Propane 2 burner stove.
• 22 gallon fresh water tank and 5 gallon grey water tank under the sink for easy, leave-no-trace disposal. There is a direct line to the ground that can be toggled when appropriate. It’s also set up to easily drain the water from pipes for easy winterization
• 55L Costway Fridge. It’s pretty basic but has been great. Fits plenty of veggies/food for about 4-5 days at a time.

Bed/Gear:

• Bed is full size with cubbies in the extra space for clothes. Bottom cubbies are huge and can hold sleeping bags, winter clothes, etc.
• Massive gear storage under bed: 3 pairs of skis, 2 mountain bikes, 4 huge bins you can put whatever you want. I am able to store all my camping/backpacking, ski, climbing, and miscellaneous gear with plenty to spare. (bikes and bins are both on high quality, 400lb sliders)
• Large coat rack
