2014 Mercedes sprinter 144: WB high roof. 110k miles on it. 4 cylinder diesel. I am the original owner. I originally converted the van as my thesis project for architecture school. Van is in decent shape. I haven’t driven it much in the last 3 years and need to move on from it.
Floor- commercial flooring made from recycled tires
Walls-Shiplap yellow cedar
Cabinets-Walnut plywood, with a mix of solid walnut and solid mahogany drawers
Insulation-Wrapped in radiant barrier and then 3m thinsulate insulation.
Systems
-200 ah agm battery. Has not been discharged below 50%
-2 solar panels mounted on the stainless steel roof rack I just welded up.
-Sterling battery to battery charger.
-Engel fridge. Model that can be divided into fridge and freezer, may have lost the divider.
(With the solar and battery to battery charger, I rarely get below 90% on the house battery)
-brand new fan
-Espar diesel heater
-3 circuits of lights
-Water comes from 3 jerry cans that have quick disconnects to hook up to sink
-circuit breakers + switches to turn off power when not needed.
-Converter for AC outlets
-USB outlets
Features
-steel storage box on back. Powder coated. Fits snowboards and smaller skis.
-hitch mount on front and back. Flat 4 on rear for trailer. No brake controller.
-Pretty new BF Goodrich K02, put maybe 5k miles on them.
-Just welded the roof rack for it. Stainless steel, raised back bars so you can put a ski box up and it wont get in the way of the fan.
-surfboard/ ski rack that folds out above bed. I think I would get 3 boards on it. Could fit my 9’8” log up there as well.
-I made the backsplash in my moms ceramic studio.
This is a 10 year old van that I rebuilt 5 years ago after the original school build. There are a few unfinished things in there, like trim, panels on the doors. I am putting some time into it to get it closer to being done, but need to move it and get back to building my own house. It would be helpful if the buyer was handy and wanted to continue working on the van to continue to make it their own and finish up the loose ends. I will go through what spare parts I have and they will go along with the van.
It was in a fender bender, somebody ran a redlight and hit me when we were both going 15 mph. Have had no problems with it since that accident 7 years ago. Full stack of receipts, I was planning on keeping this thing forever and treated it as such with the engine maintenance. It should be good to go for a long while. Thanks for looking.
