A fully dialed adventure van with under 100k miles that seats and sleeps 4. This van has been great for camping, climbing, and ski trips for our family and it’s looking for its next home as we’re moving to Alaska.

THE VAN

This is a 2009 Dodge Sprinter 3500 170″ hi-top roof passenger van (tons of natural light). It was first converted around 2015 in the Southeast, where it stayed before we bought it in early 2025. We’ve put it to work on climbing trips across the country (Chattanooga, Indian Creek, Joe’s Valley, Squamish, and various places around Washington state) and it’s been a genuinely excellent home base for two parents and our 1 year old daughter. The three of us are able to fit all of our climbing gear, baby gear, and food and clothing for weeks on the road.

We’re selling because we’re moving to Alaska, where we won’t be taking as many climbing trips. We’re hoping to find its next great home!

Deep sink that doesn’t compromise counter space, 12v compressor fridge/freezer, and substantial wooden cabinetry throughout. Bench seating with a large tabletop that converts to a second bed: two beds total, four seatbelted seats. 

THE GARAGE

If you’re traveling with lots of outdoors gear, the under-bed storage is the standout. On climbing trips, for example, it fits three large Organic crashpads plus smaller pads. We’ve loaded it for multi-week trips that include both bouldering (several pads) and trad climbing (large gear bins). I suspect you could easily fit a bike or two in there, although there’s also a hitch to mount a bike rack externally.
