Completed build ready to live on the day of purchase. Purchased it just over one year ago for $48,000 and have since have drove it acorss the country twice. Living situation in the back is perfect for a single person or a couple if you don’t mind sharing space. It has all of the basic amenities you would find in a studio apartment. Since I bought it I have make several fixes such as a new radiator, new battery, new belts, and added a computer monitor set up to the back so you can plug in a laptop or desktop and watch shows. The only reason im selling it is because I am moving out of the country for grad school, otherwise it really has been an extremely convenient living space if you want to explore the country or simply live without paying rent or utilities. Starting price is $48,000 but I am willing to negotiate. I will be living in the van until early August when I leave for grad school. If you want to purchase it beforehand over the summer we might be able to work something out, i’m willing to negotiate.
Storage
I moved my entire apartment to the van and still have plenty of room left over. The kitchen area has 5 drawers and 3 cabinets, a spice rack mounted on the wall, and netting above the countertop for light items. Above the cab there is a large space that can hold bulky items, and a good amount of room under each seat up front as well. Next to the sliding door there is an open cabinet for things like shoes, and a small box for loose items above that. The bed frame slides in and the mattress folds up to open up the living area. Under the two seats next to the table is a large amount of space. The main seat by the sliding door is where the tub for the shower is located, but when the shower is not in use it can hold the portable toilet as well as shower stuff and cleaning supplies. Next to the bed is a large cabinet I use to hold dirty laundry and detergent, then a dresser that I use for my clothes and books. Under the bed in the back is a massive area for storage.

Water/Bathroom
50gal water tank in the back that can be filled via a hose or hookup. In order to get the taps to work you need to power the inverter and turn on the water pump switch. Next to the pump switch is the switch for the water heater if you want hot water. Tap has a straight tap or a filter if you want drinking water. Shower head screws into the tap and hangs on a magnetic hook above the tub. Grey water is stored in two tanks, one of the tub and one for the sink. These tanks can be emptied by opening a valve on either one under the van. Portable toilet is stored in the tub when not in use.
Electricity
Two 100w solar panels on the roof feeding into a large battery pack in the back. I have lived in the van for a year and have never run the battery dry while basically running everything. Some days during the winter when there was not much sun the battery would get low, but there is a switch behind the drivers seat that lets you charge the battery with the vans alternator. If the sun wasn’t enough to get a charge I would turn on that switch and drive around the block until I had a good percentage. In order to power the outlets and toaster oven you need to press a button to power the inverter. The inverter has a built in alarm with automatic shutoff if you are drawing too much power (like trying to run the heater, toaster oven, and charging phones at the same time). Everything else is on a breaker.
Heating/AC
Van has a diesel heater that works extremely well. I survived a winter in Vermont with it while snowed in and actually had to turn it down at night because it was too warm. Not very loud either, actually pretty hard to notice unless you go actively looking for it from the outside. Heater runs off of the main diesel tank. Ran it continuously for an entire weekend and it used maybe 1/5th of the gas tank. For cooling there are two ceiling fans controlled via a remote, the side window can be opened as well for more airflow, and the van has a pretty good AC system if you turn the engine on.
Lights/TV
Interior lighting is controlled by a remote with multiple brightness settings and a dimmer switch. Above the bed in the back there are also two reading lights. 4 buttons are connected to exterior lights on the sides, rear, and rear storage area of the van. I set up a computer monitor on a swinging arm that you can connect to a laptop or desktop and watch either from the main area while cooking or the bed at night. HDMI included for the monitor.
Misc.
GPS up front
Custom speaker system
Fire extinguisher
New car battery
New serpentine belt
Things that need fixing
One of the drawers won’t stay shut (just needs a new magnet)
Probably new tires for next winter
One glowplug is broken which is the cause of a check engine light (It as like this when I bought it a year ago, but I never had a problem starting it so I never got around to fixing it)
