This is the perfect ready-to-go adventure van for anyone who wants a Sprinter but doesn’t have $100k to blow. Keeping the price low on this van because it has 239k miles. I would still expect the motor to last another couple 100k miles since it is diesel and has a new turbo. We are only selling the van because we have a small baby and it is time to make a change. The van has taken us to some amazing places to climb/bike/ski/hike. The modular bed design combined with all of the windows make this van feel spacious and open, rather than feeling like a cave on wheels. We added a removable 3rd seat that sits in a super-secure track in the floor – this gives you the option to safely transport another passenger, including a baby in a carseat.
Mechanically, this van has been well-maintained and the turbo was replaced last year ($5k value). The diesel engine gets incredible fuel economy and the Espar heater is connected directly to the diesel tank for efficient heating. The combination of solar charger and B2B charger keeps the 100Ah Lithium battery charged quite easily, but an exterior outlet allows you to connect to shore power if you want.
