Up for sale is a fully converted, off-grid short bus / van / tiny-home-on-wheels.
The build is on a 2008 Chevy Express 3500 Dually Cutaway Chassis, mated to a Collins Grand Bantam bus body. It is equipped with a Vortec LS V8 6.0L gasoline engine, and a 4 speed automatic transmission. The bus has about 166,000 miles and was fleet maintained by the school bus company since new. I have a binder of service/maintenance records going back to 2008. The underside/chassis is clean with no corrosion or rot. Tires in good condition with no dry rot or damage, and decent tread life.
There are no known mechanical issues and I encourage any prospective buyer to take it to the mechanic of their choice for a thorough inspection and peace of mind.
The bus is titled in my name, as a motorhome, in Washington State. No CDL or special license is required to operate this vehicle.
This bus has been designed to be functional and capable for living or traveling off of the grid.

Miscellaneous Info:
– The rear of the cabin features a hybrid seating area / work space / eating area / sleeping area. At the core of the design is the “U” shaped seating area, with dense foam bottom and back cushions. There is a table in the middle to eat/work etc. that can be easily removed from its mount. There are four wooden planks that can be placed across the gap to make a flat surface for the large, 60” x 88” sleeping area. The back cushions fill that same gap, and now the entire area is filled with dense foam cushions, ready for you to sleep on.
– Inside of the luxuriously appointed cabin, you will find a 60” long kitchen countertop, with a sink and faucet. There is a 5 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer combo underneath. The kitchen provides ample counter space, and the robust electrical system can handle any 120V appliances you’d like, including induction cooktops and countertop ovens. There are 120V household outlets underneath the upper cabinets in the kitchen area for your appliances.
– On the passenger front side, there is a full size residential style entrance door with an electronic deadbolt and tempered safety glass.
– The fresh water tank, water pump, and all the electrical components, are located in different compartments under the bed.
– The diesel powered cabin air heater makes the inside of the bus nice and toasty no matter the weather outside.
– The rear doors serves as an emergency exit, and also reveals access to under-bed storage, the diesel cabin air heater, the water heater, etc.
– Everything that moves in the bus (the interior doors, the cabinet doors, drawers, etc.) are secured with heavy duty magnets to ensure that nothing opens while driving.
– The ceiling has ample flush mounted LED lights, controlled by various wall mounted light switches.
– The ceiling is lined with tongue and groove wood planks, stained dark-brown, and sealed/protected with polyurethane. The walls are painted plywood. Everything comes together to create a clean, fun, and luxurious vibe.
– The exterior of this bus is painted in a desert tan Raptor Liner (bed-liner). It is extremely durable and hides any scratches or blemishes.
