We’ve owned and enjoyed Babushka since 2020, rebuilding her interior and investing in significant mechanical maintenance along the way. With a comfortable living space, off-grid power, and generous storage for outdoor gear, she’s ideal for road trips, weekend adventures, and extended travel.

Why This T1N?

The 2004–2006 Sprinter T1N is sought after for its durable 2.7L five-cylinder diesel engine, simpler mechanical design, and reputation for longevity. It predates the DPF/DEF emissions systems found on later diesel Sprinters.

Fuel economy can reach approximately 25 MPG on flat highways at 60–65 MPH, depending on conditions.

1. Off-grid power: 200W Renogy solar, 125Ah Ionic lithium battery, Victron controller, 750W inverter, and 110V/USB outlets.

3. Living & sleeping: Fixed bed with extension to 74” long × 66” wide, 6” memory-foam mattress, passenger swivel seat, Lagun table, and bench seating with two lap belts.
4. Comfort: Dometic Fantastic Fan, T-vent window, insulated window coverings, and portable Mr. Buddy propane heater for supplemental use while awake with adequate ventilation—not for overnight heating while sleeping.
5. Adventure storage: Approximately 48 cubic feet of rear gear storage, ideal for climbing gear, camping equipment, and outdoor adventures.

In September 2026, Babushka underwent a comprehensive inspection and road test by Sprinter Service & Repair. All recommended repairs were completed in preparation for her next owner.
