This van is a beast and has been reliable traveling cross country, on all kinds of roads and all kinds of conditions.
In 2020 I did an amateur self build for off grid camping.
This includes – rigid foam insulation
Maxx air fan w remote
Cedar ceiling
Laminate flooring
Slide out platform bed
Yakima roof rack and Yakima awning
Jackery generator and portable jackery solar panel
(the Maxxair fan is the only thing “wired” in the van- I simply wired it to a 12 v cigarette lighter to plug into the Jackery. You can charge the Jackery when driving using a portable 12 v charging converter (you can have mine, it’s just a cheap one from amazon). You can also charge it using the solar panel brief case. Or from shore power.
Basic simple cabinetry for kitchen (could use some updating for shelves)
Reliance 7 gallon fresh water jug
Portable camp kitchen
Britta water filter
Black out curtains for cab
Fabric covered reflectix window coverings
5 inch memory foam mattress in good condition with protective cover
I just had it checked out by a mechanic to see if there were any major issues. He put in a fresh, brand new battery and reported everything else looked in good shape. I had it serviced regularly (I drove it cross country from NC to Washington State and meandering and back both in 2020 and 2021 and took it on several other camping trips.
The mechanic did say it will need two new rear tires soon, so I lowered my initial listing price to cover that cost.
There are plenty of little minor things that can be improved upon but nothing that would stand in the way of using it immediately for stealth camping!
She’s all cleaned up and ready to go!
