Answers to common questions
• Is there a toilet? No, but you can fit one into one of the bottom cabinets.
• Is there a shower? No, but an outdoor shower kits can be bought for <$100.
• How is the water powered? Water is pumped by hand from a 5 gallon tank. Another 5 gallon gray water tank is hooked up to the sink drain. Both tanks are located in the cabinet below the drawers in the kitchen.
• What do you do for cooking? We used a propane camping stove.
• Electric: We use this mobile solar generator: https://www.chargerharbor.com/review-suaoki-120000mah-portable-power-supply/. It limits charging to 120W per hour. You can buy a more powerful solar generator to make full use of the 300W solar panels.
- Outlets: none. We plug our phones/laptops straight into the solar-charged battery.
