2005 Ford Sportsmobile Econoline 2WD

We have a near pristine 2005 (converted 2006) E250 Sportsmobile with the RB50 layout (sleeps 4)! We are the 3rd owners, purchased earlier this year – the previous two owners stored it in the garage for its whole life, and we’ve kept it under a cover. This has been amazing for day outings, beach days, camp trips, or even short road trips.

The van has roughly 127000 miles, and has been inspected twice since we’ve owned it with only rave reviews from mechanics we trust. Brand new battery and fresh oil change. Powerful v8 engine, with all terrain cooper tires.

The seals on the penthouse top were just replaced before we bought the van, as was the flooring and house battery. The battery is charged by the alternator while driving, and powers all the house lighting, the radio, water pumps, and the fridge. We converted a 12v outlet into a USB charger with a house battery volt-meter so you can see how well charged the battery is. Half of the lights have been converted from halogens to LED’s, and with some basic upgrades all the remaining fluorescents can easily be converted as well.

There’s a waterport outdoor shower mounted to the trailer hitch, and we added frontrunner roof rack tracks with 2 roof bars, and a roof cargo basket to make it easy to take everything you might need with you!

The van also has two mattresses, a thin one for the penthouse bed to make it a bit more cozy, and a tri-fold 4″ certipur foam mattress that makes the fold-down bed feel like home. (Both with fitted sheets) They store in a waterproof bag and fit perfectly in the cargo storage box on the roof.
