** This listing will expire on April 21. I will not be re-listing on this platform. I may try an online auction for enthusiasts.
Thanks for the inquires so far.
The bus is still available. The prospective buyer wanted to arrange 16 passenger seats in the bus. That will not work.
2003 Ford E350 ** 7.3 Diesel ** with only 17k miles. This bus was used by a private airport carrier to transport passengers from their private plane to the terminal or to a local hotel. I had plans of building a small RV/weekend rig while maintaining a few seats for passengers. I have changed plans will be looking for a Sprinter/Transit to build an Adventure Wagon.
I purchased the Bus in June of 2024 and I have only added a few hundred miles.
Prior to purchase, the maintenance shop of the airport had completed the following work;
- diesel filters, oil change, fresh battery terminals, AC blower motor, evacuated AC system and recharged system. (they left the system in vacuum overnight, with no loss of vacuum)
As reported by the Airport maintenance shop, they had recently reupholsted the 12 passenger seats and stated the engine had been replaced with a Ford crate motor approximately 7 years earlier. They were unable to provide any documentation for this repair as they had been acquired by a neighboring Private Airport and didn’t maintain the records after their merger.
Since I’ve owned the Bus, I have completed the following;
- 2 new front tires (Firestone Transforce), new front end components (sway bar bushings, radius arm bushings, 2 ball joints, steering damper, drag link, outer tie rods, wheel alignment, trans fluid, trans filter, trans valve body, brake caliper.
The bus is equipped with a back up camera, reversing sensors, high idle controller, automatic passenger door, heated mirrors (haven’t confirmed if they work). The AM/FM radio has a defective volume knob (only lowers the volume)
I’ve routinely started and driven the bus locally through the winter and it never had any issues cold starting.
There is a separate cargo compartment accessible only from the rear of the bus. It would be great for a rear bath with the installation of an interior door.
I’ve done my best to describe the bus, but as we understand, I can make no to guarantee or provide warranty on the bus. And as such, the sale will be As Is.
If you have any other questions, I will do my best to answer.
I may be having issue with replying to emails.
