Hello! Up for sale today we have a just completed Ford Econoline E350 Camper Van. We are Luna Designs located in Vermonts beautiful North East Kingdom and have been building beautiful off grid creations for over 15 years. The subject van today is a 2002 Ford E350 with the legendary 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel. A quick Google search and you’ll find that the 7.3 Powerstroke is widely considered the best power plant ever made, and has a reputation for going over 500,000 miles. This van has only 110,000 lightly used miles and spent most is life as a passenger van never towing or hauling.
For those of you with a sharp eye you’ll notice that although this is listed as a 2002 Ford E350 it looks more like a 2011 Ford E350. Here’s the story: I bought the van last winter from man in Springfield Massachusetts who had a dream of owning a low mileage 7.3 Powerstroke van but with more modern styling. He worked in the auto industry and so he had access to vehicles at auction. He purchased 2 vans, a 2002 Ford E350 7.3 Diesel that needed some body work and a 2011 Ford E350 gasoline van with a bad motor. He combined the 2 and created the car show quality “one of a kind” van you see here. In the rebuild all 4 shocks, rotors, breaks where replaced. Front ball joints and most of the front end components have been replaced. Aftermarket wheels and tires. Tow hitch with 7 and 4 pin plug with remote trailer break. Two brand new vehicle batteries (yup this van takes two!). Recent oil change and coolant flush. The undercarriage of this van looks like a van half its age with no major rust anywhere.
Now to the build! Over the last 2 months we’ve converted this van into the beautiful tiny home on wheels you see here.
