This van started life out as a Church bus that was only used once or twice a week with only a few miles used at a time. It has 7700 original miles! yes that’s correct that’s not a misprint it has 7700 documented CarFax certified miles.
This van has the legendary 5.7 liter v8 witch is arguably one the best engines ever made. These engines are very easy to work on and the cost of maintenance is very minimal compared to other vans. These engines are known to run to 500,000+ miles. The transmission also are known to be very reliable and durable. These drivetrains are used in all types of commercial uses and have been proven to outlast many others.
We sent the van out to Carefree Camper Company in Wickenburg Arizona to have it built. Blackhawk and his crew did and amazing job and we are very pleased with the results. This is one of their simple builds, we can connect you with him and he can add anything you want to the build.
The van has a very hi roof and is much taller than any other roof that I have seen. I have a friend that is 6’3″ walk around in total comfort. The van is equipped with propane stove, sink, ceiling lights, full solar, outdoor shower, table, inverter, queen size bed.
