1994 Toyota Hiace 4×4

A meticulously converted 1994 Toyota Hiace 4×4, LongBody van, imported from Japan from a single owner, with a custom buildout by Strata Rigs in 2021. Sadly, we need to say goodbye but our loss is your gain! He’s ready for adventures on and off-road!  

The cozy buildout includes full wood lining, dimmable ceiling lights, and clever storage, including an L-track gear hang system for your climbing gear, headlamps, coat hangs, etc.. The living area converts in minutes between a work and dining area to a queen-sized bed for a restful night’s sleep in the backcountry. 

The kitchen area supports both indoor and outdoor meal prep, dish washing with a sink, both an oven and gas stovetop, butcher-block countertops, a spice rack, ample storage for pans, cutting boards, and a convenient towel rack. A Dometic fridge keeps your perishables cold. Hot and cold water runs both to the kitchen sink and the back of the van where a quick outdoor shower curtain can be hung from the open hatch for hot showers.

The roof rack includes two solar panels and significant gear storage space with integrated tie downs to rack gear up top including bikes or boats. Electrical system includes an inverter to drive several 120V outlets and USB ports for laptops and other devices. The Renogy electrical system charges off solar and the engine when driving for plenty of juice. An integrated diesel heater is powered off the Van’s diesel tank. 

Engine was fully rebuilt in 2022 with the addition of a Turbo Kit from Northwest Toys, and we’ve installed all new injectors in 2023. A 1″ custom lift kit gives him good off-road capability to approach remote sites. The K-series Toyota motor is a workhorse known for it’s longevity.
