2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 T1N High-Roof Off-Grid Camper – 140” WB

A comfortable, capable, and uncomplicated off-grid camper ready for its next adventure.

We purchased this 2006 T1N Sprinter in October 2020 and rebuilt the camper interior as our pandemic project. We’ve driven it approximately 15,300 miles during nearly six years of ownership. It now has 220,900 miles and is in good mechanical condition with service records throughout our ownership.

The conversion features a Baltic birch interior, butcher-block countertops, Lonwood flooring, full-size bed with 6” memory-foam mattress and extension for a 6’+ sleeper, passenger swivel seat with Lagun table, and multifunction bench with two lap belts.

Off-grid systems include 200W Renogy solar, Victron solar controller, Ionic 125Ah lithium battery, 700W inverter, 20-gallon fresh-water system, 45-quart refrigerator, two-burner propane stove, Fantastic roof fan, outdoor instant hot-water shower, and weBoost Drive Reach cell booster.

One of the van’s best features is its approximately 48 cu. ft. of usable rear garage storage, with direct rear-door access plus an interior access opening from the bench. Additional storage includes a pantry, four drawers, removable Campo bags mounted to L-track, and gear hooks.

Maintenance includes a turbocharger replacement and alternator replacement in 2024, two new front tires and wipers in August 2026, and rear tires installed in 2023. Service records are available.

As expected for a 2006 vehicle, there is cosmetic wear, including some surface rust and areas that could use paint touch-up.

Originally used as a commercial HVAC van, it was purchased by a private owner in 2017 and first converted to a camper. We purchased it in 2020, retained the existing insulation, and rebuilt the interior into the camper it is today.
