It has been sitting safely in storage for the last 4 years, and it's time to hand it off to someone ready to take it across the finish line.
The base vehicle is an absolute unicorn. It’s a 2000 Freightliner FS 65 conventional short bus chassis with just 13,850 original miles on it (I have the clean title and verified NMVTIS history report in hand). The engine is barely broken in. At roughly 22 feet bumper-to-bumper (6-window layout), this is the desired length for a conversion. It’s short enough to park in a standard driveway, completely clears the strict length limits for National Parks and state campgrounds, but still gives you a massive, heavy-duty interior footprint to build out.
I haven’t touched it since I bought it, but the previous owner did an incredible job engineering the expensive, difficult infrastructure parts of the build. They didn't cheap out on parts—the entire off-grid setup runs on top-tier components (Victron, Renogy, LiTime).

Climate & Interior:Mirage Mini-Split HVAC: High-efficiency heating and air conditioning unit mounted cleanly above the back window. These are the gold standard for conversions because they easily run off a lithium/solar setup like this without needing a loud generator.
Engine: Cummins 24-valve ISB 5.9L Turbo Diesel.
The Shell: Subflooring is down, wall panels are ready, and it’s a totally clean slate for your layout.
