A lot of these yuppies like to talk about their “one of a kind” van build, but they don’t know diddly shit about individuality.
Behold my 2019 FREIGHTLINER (same thing as Mercedes but truckers will respect you more) sprinter 2500 170wb CLASS B RV 2WD, w/ full kitchen, wet bath, projector entertainment center!
~60k miles w/ v6 turbodiesel 2WD yada yada you can look up the specs
Clean CARFAX and service records
What makes this van unique:
ClassB motor home
- I went through the pain in the ass of having it re-titled so you don’t have to!
- Enjoy WAY cheaper insurance that covers everything on the inside of the van too!
ACTUAL beefed up suspension
- *comparing another van with sumo springs to my van, in a crocodile Dundee accent* :“that’s not a suspension upgrade, THIS is a suspension upgrade!”
- 2” lift, 2 extra leaf springs added to each rear side, fox agile off road suspension , 5x AT tires w/ real bead locking rims.
- This thing truly rides like a dream fully loaded w/a dirtbike on the back. Stock will bottom out, and sumo springs just dampen the impact, but not this rig!
- Aluminess bumper bar, running boards, side ladder
Beefed up Security
- thunderbolt deadbolts installed on every door but the rear (rear padlocks from the inside, but rear door is easiest to install should you want to)
- The secure feeling you’ll get when you hear that “thunk” of the deadbolts engaging knowing someone will need a goddamn jackhammer to break into your shit will help you sleep at night.
Folding Murphy bed
- Built out of sturdy 80/20 extruded aluminum. This bed is built to handle the bumps in the road, a nuclear blast, and whatever swinger-fest you can conjure up at the campground
- Originally designed so I’d able to fold up the bed and access everything underneath it while my dirtbike was mounted on the trailer hitch.
- 34” of clearance underneath, should be able to fit mountain bikes w your skis/snowboards mounted under the bed frame.
- 6”thick queen size memory foam mattress encased in a custom waterproof cover so you could just pull it out and hose it off after you and the campground soil it.
- About a square foot of the corner of the bed was sacrificed to make room for the wet bath. Better for cuddling.
10” in dash screen with wireless car play
- Ability to turn on rear view camera while driving, SUPER handy feature
- Apparently there’s a way to watch Netflix on it too but don’t do that while driving.
Electrical system
- 5 years left on warranty for whole electrical system.
- 400ah battle born batteries with room to add another should you wish
- All victron components: 2000w inverter w shore power hookup, mppt solar charger, dc-dc charger
- 400w solar on roof w ability to expand
- So many goddamn plugs are scattered throughout this thing you’ll wanna puke. under the desk, by the back door, in the kitchen, in the cabinets, 20 plugs to be exact, as well as several usb-c plugs throughout as well
Water system
- 32gal freshwater tank
- 4 gal electric heater on a timer
- blu-tech 3 stage water filter- filters down to the micron level (can filter viruses out) then replaces the minerals through a charcoal filter. The water this system produces is for real so tasty that you could bottle it and sell it to people in Fiji.
- 15gal underslung gray water tank w/ electric drain.
- Fold up shower stall and deployable shower curtain for wet bath.
- Dual gauges for fresh/gray water level
Just about the best toilet system you can put in a van
- 1&2 separating jug/bag Toilet system lives in a hermetically sealed box in the shower stall
- No dealing with dumping shit chemicals like a cassette toilet, no mixing shit with sawdust like a “composting” toilet
- This is 1000% the most convenient/hygienic bathroom system in a van w/o spending $3k on an incinerator
- Pee goes in the cup which gets diverted to a jug for dumping, turds go into compostable bag that can be thrown away, buried where applicable, or chucked out the window at other drivers. Just kidding, but seriously..Kidding…or am I?
- Close the sealing lid and you won’t smell a thing
Kitchen
- Stainless steel propane 3 burner stove/oven conveniently running off of standard 20lb grill tank that’s easily accessible
- 15” stainless steel sink with decorative sink hardware, cutting board surface
- Pull out Iceco 75l pro dual zone fridge/freezer hidden in bench
- CO and explosive gas alarm
Projector entertainment center
- Swivel both seats around, swivel the mounted projector out, mount included 40” projector screen to reveal an entertainment setup sicker than your mom’s basement. Blacklight posters not included.
- Dangbei atom projector with auto-focus, auto keystone, and video game mode that compensates for latency.
- Looks awesome, sounds awesome, definitely Best projector in its class!
Heater
- 5kw diesel heater underneath passenger seat w/ clever ductwork that diverts hot air to the back of the van with a circulation fan
Building components
- insulated with havelock wool (2 whole extra box of it is included if you want it)
- Countertops are faux marble epoxy
- Desktop is live edge and epoxy
- Marine grade wiring all around
- Front and rear maxaire deluxe fans
- Super durable waterproof smart-core Vinyl plank floor case
- Insulated window covers all around
Van could use some minor cosmetic fixes to make it pristine but it has served me well over the past year and a half or so. I accepted a job that will keep me landlocked so I am retiring from vanlife early and have to practically give this thing away. Make an offer!
