The Teton is a special edition, limited collaboration by Owl Offroad, purpose-engineered from the ground up as a no-compromise overland platform on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500XD cab-chassis. Owl took a Winnebago Sprinter Ekko and transformed it into a trail-eating, family-of-four sleeping, choose-your-own-adventure rig capable of true four-season travel. It’s taken us from the desert Southwest, to the Lost Coast of California, through the Canadian Rockies, deep into the mountain west, across the Gulf Coast and back to the desert, traversing every climate in the Northern hemisphere. This vehicle is the ultimate icebreaker. It gets people talking. Hathi GX has been described as both “the ultimate zombie apocalypse rig” and “the most stylish luxury apartment on four wheels”. So you can go out, adventure, and be prepared for anything — and look great doing it!

As a halo overland vehicle Owl always dreamed of building, this represents a significant engineering effort bringing together a platform to conquer inter-continental travel. Every mechanical and exterior upgrade was designed and installed by Owl specifically for the Ekko platform. All 15 Teton Editions sold out in 36 hours at launch. None have been available on the resale market, until now. 8. Owl Onboard Air System Level 2 – ARB twin compressor (CKMTA12) with ARB Bluetooth pressure control; set target PSI on your phone and connect all four tires simultaneously. It seems excessive until you use it and then it’s hard to live without.

S&B extended fuel tank with large OEM-spec filler nozzle – expands capacity from 23 to 45 gallons, nearly doubling range for remote travel; the larger filler nozzle is standard on Sprinters in other markets and accepts international diesel pumps (Mexico, Canada) and high-flow truck stop pumps – faster fills, fewer stops

11. Rerouted exhaust with bronze ceramic stainless steel tip – stock exhaust exits just ahead of the rear tire and is vulnerable to rock damage off-road; Owl rerouted it to exit behind the rear tire, tucked close to the body for protection and a cleaner look

Personal effects, sheets, pillows, stickers, velvet curtains, Inhabit mats, license plates, and the like are not included with the sale. We’ll be included original equipment where possible for interior mods, in case you want to revert to a more factory look, i.e. curtain, fire extinguisher mount, etc. 

Hathi GX was our name for this rig. Hathi is a reference to the elephants from Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book and GX stands for Global Expedition. You’re welcome to rename it!
