This 2022 Ford Transit AWD was professionally built in collaboration with Ford as a display vehicle for SEMA, and has since been showcased at Overland Expo, Adventure Van Expo, and the LA Auto Show. It was also featured as a cover vehicle for OVR Magazine. The build was primarily completed by Lost Hiway in Hesperia, CA, with an emphasis on real-world overland capability, refined interior comfort, and long-term durability.

Vehicle Information (Factory Configuration)
This van is based on a highly optioned 2022 Ford Transit 350 AWD High Roof Cargo Van with a 148” wheelbase, finished in Abyss Gray. Power comes from Ford’s 3.5L EcoBoost V6 gasoline engine, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, delivering strong highway performance and confident power delivery when fully loaded or traveling off pavement.
From the factory, this Transit was ordered with Ford’s Adventure Prep Package, which adds key features desirable for overland and van conversion builds, including fixed rear and passenger door glass, reverse sensing system, keyless entry keypad, fog lamps, SYNC 4 infotainment with Bluetooth, adaptive cruise control, blind spot assist, side sensing system, privacy glass, and additional power outlets throughout the cabin.
The van is also equipped with the 9500-lb GVWR package and 3.73 limited-slip rear axle, providing increased payload capacity and improved traction. An HD Trailer Tow Package and factory trailer brake controller were included, along with a 360-degree camera system that significantly improves maneuverability both on-road and in tight off-road or camp environments.
Electrical capacity was upgraded from the factory with dual 250-amp alternators, an upfitter switch package, auxiliary fuse panel, and modified vehicle wiring system, making it an ideal foundation for the extensive aftermarket electrical system currently installed. A 31-gallon extended fuel tank increases range for long-distance travel and off-grid use.
Comfort and safety features include automatic temperature control, rain-sensing wipers, auto high-beam headlamps, lane-keeping system, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, side-wind stabilization, remote start, and FordPass Connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi capability.
Original MSRP was $64,940 before any aftermarket or custom build work was added.
