Hello, the time has come to pass along my labor of love, Vanna White. She has never let me down on my many of memorable adventures, and has always been there for me whatever the task. This build did not happen in a couple weekends. I have spent countless hours and the last 10 years converting and upgrading the inside and out of this van. This build was not done haphazardly by an amateur. It was crafted by a carpenter (me) with great attention to detail. It has been a labor of love with lots of sweat and hard work put into it.
I have taken very good care of this van. Always serviced at Mercedes-Benz or serviced by a certified Mercedes-Benz mechanic. Any issues that arose were always dealt with promptly and thoroughly. She has never left me stranded and starts right up on the first crank.
From the start I wanted a van that was more than just a Camper Van for sleeping, so versatility was my top priority. This van has the capability to seat 4 people safely and could sleep 2-4 people. The Bed is not full time, but sets up quickly when needed and can accommodate a Full size mattress. The back has 88” from the back to the partition to carry everything from Dirt Bikes, motorcycles, bicycles, surfboards, camping gear, tools, band equipment, or whatever else you might be into!
Inside, you’ll find destressed solid hickory wood floors, black walnut live edge slab counter top, tool cabinet with drawers, large sink, two 5gal jerry cans that supply water, 5gal jerry can for the gray water, Seaflo water pump, removable 2 person factory Mercedes-Benz bench seat, adjustable tables that doubles as the sleeping platform or as a standing desk, swivel seat driver side, RB Components configurable stuff wall bags, over 25ft of L-track, led lighting, roof vent fan, 1000 watt DC to AC power inverter, 3 DC auxiliary power outlets, fire extinguisher, led flashlight, carbon monoxide detector, portable butane single burner stove, The front is versatile with lots of configurations for table setup and sleeping options. The sleep platform transforms from a 24″ storage area to a pop up style fold out bed that fits a full size mattress. When the bench seat and tables are removed there is room for activities, and room to sleep up to two people on the floor.
The back features 88” from partition to the back door, which I made sure was enough room to haul 2 dirt bikes or whatever you desire! It also has a 4 drawer tool box with basic tools, tons of storage options, molle panel with pouches, lots of L-track, tie down points, shovel, Axe, saw, chairs, and a table. I used 1/2 inch plywood on the walls throughout the van to be able to screw things securely to it. I have insulated the entire inside of the van. On the roof is a 100w Renogy solar panel that is attached to the roof rack and charges a group 27 deep cycle battery. It powers the roof vent, LED lights, auxiliary power outlets, water pump, and power inverter. The front and back sections of the van each have secure fuse boxes with plenty of terminals left for adding additional power options.
I have put in great care in getting this van ready to sell. I wanted to be sure everything was cleaned up and in good working order for the next owners. I wanted to pass it along in the best shape it’s ever been in. Registration is paid for the year as of last month as well as a passed smog check . I had the air filter and oil changed. I touched up the paint, sealed the floor, deep cleaned the inside and washed the outside. I stocked it with the basics for hitting the road this summer and the gas tank is full! I have more camping supplies I can include if needed! This van is so much more than a camper van, it is a mini toy hauler waiting for its next adventure!
