1987 VW Vanagon GL with 2.1L Waterboxer and manual transmission. Van has a Tassi engine rebuild with around 60k miles on rebuild. 215k miles on chassis. Van has the Z Bed that works well. All seats and upholstery have been professionally detailed, shampooed, and cleaned. All-terrain tires are in very good condition as is the Arb awning.
Great condition for the age. Reimo high top professionally installed, insulated, and upholstered. Gives you around 6’6” of standing room. Full build out including 3M Thinsulate insulation, new upholstery on walls and topper, and new Lonridge marine vinyl flooring. 12V fridge on a custom aluminum tube frame riser to allow for storage underneath. Custom aluminum tube frame fridge cabinet with 10 gallons of fresh water, induction stove, outlet, shower quick connect, deep sink with a recessed cutting board, and battery system. The kitchen cabinet also has a folding countertop extension to give more space for food prep as well as a fire extinguisher.
The battery system is a 2073.6Wh Lithium ion unit that can be charged from alternator while driving, from shore power extension cord, or from a portable solar array. It runs the 12V fridge, induction cooktop, water pump, an outlet, an automatic Maxxair fan, and various lights.
