2018 Ford Transit 350 HD XLT

My wife and I spent 10 months on the road in 2024 in this van and had the time of our lives. It ran like a champ and has the horsepower for any inclines you may encounter on your journey. If you are in an area with enough sun and a blackstone, and you conserve your power you could potentially spend up to 9 days just running on solar power like we did. When plugged into Shore Power you don’t have to worry about running out of power. You can run an oven, you can use the water heater when showering, and if you are in a cold area you can always plug in a space heater. There are 3 options for charging the batteries: Shore Power, the Van battery when driving, and Solar panels. You’ll see in the photos there is no ladder attached to the van because we didn’t want anyone having access to the roof of the van. We had a retractable ladder that we kept in the garage area. We’ve had no problems with it. The guy we purchased it from took VERY good care of it and so have we. We love the van, we miss the road, and are longing to get back out there.
