Over the past 13 months, I have loved the opportunity to travel all around the country and Canada in this rig. It has been more than capable in ice, snow, sand, and everything in between. This is the third vehicle I’ve lived in, and it far surpasses the capabilities of the two others. This was designed to spend weeks, if not a month, parked in the most remote locations and be fully self-sufficient. When the solar’s not enough in the winter, I idle for an hour or less and charge at a rate of 4,500W. In the summer, mid-day solar provides enough juice to power the A/C and charge the battery. And the 120 gallons of freshwater is plenty for weeks of dishes, showering, and laundry. But traveling to remote places wasn’t enough for me; I needed a place to bring along my two bikes, skis, and recently, an electric dirt bike. My friends and family have loved this truck, too – on hot, cold, wet, or snowy days, I’ve had up to 7 adults around the dinette comfortably hanging out with the windows wide open or the fire going in the wood burning stove. Although I’m selling this truck to settle into a house, I plan to shop for my next vehicle and camper, dreaming of the functionality built into this one and knowing that I won’t be able to rival it.
