Can’t help but tear up as I attempt to describe what this van means to us. “Louie the van” has taken us to 46 US states, 32 national parks, Canada, so many state parks and national monuments, and has been the ultimate off-grid adventure van.
It was our full-time home on wheels for 2+ years and holds countless memories, but the time has come to move on to our next adventure as we have now settled down in Oregon and are about to welcome a new member to our family.
That being said, it is the perfect van for a couple or single person, and your dog(s) or other pets. While it has just two seat belts, we have slept 3 in the van on multiple occasions as the dinette converts to a small sleeper couch for one more person. This area was also where our 50lb dog slept every night.
Louie has everything you need to live comfortably full-time or part-time on the road, including a high roof (my husband is 6’2″), a full bath, two burner induction cook top, good sized fridge/small freezer, spice pantry, lots of storage (cabinets throughout, drawers, factory overhead storage compartment, dinette seats, garage and more) a deep sink and faucet with spray head, ample countertop space, a heater, water heater, 40 gal fresh and grey tanks (amazing), an air conditioner, max-air fan with remote, sky light, passenger swivel seat, all window coverings, plus the ability to open most of the windows (each having their own screen), a dinette that converts to a couch/small bed, solar panels on the roof, a fixed full size bed, huge storage area in the “garage” under the bed, an outside shower, a rack for two bikes, custom bug screens for the sliding and back doors, and more. Our builders, Noovo, out of Las Vegas, are a group of skilled craftsmen and we really could not have asked for a better rig to experience this part of the world in. We bought the van new from Noovo in February 2022 and have been the only owners.
We have kept up to date with general maintenance like regular oil changes (and have all the receipts) and car washes. No accidents and clean Carfax. Only 48k miles. We just got one last oil change for you and will also do a full car wash + roof/solar cleaning before you take ownership.
It truly hurts to say goodbye, but we know whoever ends up with Louie will fall in love like we have and we’re so excited to hand her off to the next lucky person!
