2017 Mercedes Sprinter 4×4

Turn-key dry camper van that is well insulated, heated, and has a solid electric system. It has been a trustworthy system for our family for over seven years.

It runs great and is mechanically sound. All recommended service has been done at appropriate intervals by a certified Sprinter mechanic. 160k mi service already done. The rear brake rotors and pads and e-brake were recently replaced. It will need front brake pads soon. The undercarriage is in great shape with minimal rust. Body panels have significant rust on the driver and passenger side middle and rear pannels. Interior is clean and functional. It has a new windshield but one small chip from a highway stone. Shocks and struts were replaced in 2023 with Bilstein B2s. The serpentine belt and pullies were replaced in early 2024.

Insulation:

The floor is insulated with Thinsulate and closed-cell foam.

The ceiling and walls are insulated with Thinsulate and Low-E reflective foam core.

All nooks and crannies have been packed full of Thinsulate.

HVAC:

Espar D2 heater under the passenger seat (recently serviced)

Maxxair 7500. It has a new motor but needs a new motherboard. It runs great, but lid opening and closing have to be done manually. 

Electric:

224 ah 12v auxiliary power system

Two Fullriver DC224-6 batteries under the hood mounted with the Adventurewagon battery tray.

Kisae DMT1250 DC-DC charger w/ MPPT solar input and 50A from alternator

The bed panels can be removed and mounted to a frame in the back of the van to make a couch. The couch has a 65” pull-out drawer on 36” slides. It perfectly fits four snowboards or a bunch of camping gear.
