The “Mooks”

Welcome to The Mooks – a black and white land Orca with groovy 70’s inspired wood and faux suede interior. A one of a kind workhorse just waiting for someone to jump in the saddle and let rip. Hiking, surf trips, festivals, you name it, The Mooks is your moveable mini home with all the amenities you could wish for on a road trip. We built The Mooks because we wanted something that you could easily park in a regular spot, most multi story parking lots and smack bang in the middle of any wilderness. It’s big enough to live in but small enough to maneuver through any city or single lane dirt road in the middle of nowhere.

Exterior Fearures:

Mounted (4) 16” Moto Metal black 5-spoke rims and new Milestar Patagonia XT All Terrain tires.

installed (4) new brake calipers, rotors and brake pads (June 2024). 

New side mirrors, new headlights and New windshield from Safelite.

(1) at driver side door, and (1) long step at passenger side sliding door.

Exterior keyed water inlet for freshwater tank fill

Installed (2) 5-Gallon plastic water tanks underneath van and plumbed to freshwater (drain) and to sink with electronic release valves and 12v. switches inside (operates both supply and greywater).

Built 2 custom interior cabinets with butcher block tops:

1. Sink side with 3 storage areas and pull out refrigerator storage underneath 
2. sliding door side cabinets w/ fold up extension table, (2) storage areas, pull out gas grille (outside) and propane storage.

Built (2) beach seats hiding batteries and 12v electrical system (one side); designer custom cushions on bench seats that double as the bed mattress.
