OpenSpace Shuttle 2016 Ford Transit 350HD Adventure Conversion

Looking for the perfect basecamp for all your adventures? Look no further, here’s a van that has everything you need! This is a fully custom built-out 2016 Ford Transit 350 HD with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine. Included is an extended warranty from Route 66, which is good until 2/22/2027 or 120k miles, whichever comes first.

This van was built with multi-sport adventures in mind to take you on the trip(s) of a lifetime! I’m thrilled to give someone else the opportunity to experience the outdoors the way I was able to in this van.

Storage: The storage in this rivals the Batcave! The huge garage under the bed is big enough for three bikes, skis, clothes/provisions, plus a TON of other stuff. A large overhead storage shelf area over the bed provides ample storage for clothes and then some. Open storage space above the cockpit for additional odds and ends.

Electrical: Electrical system was professional installed by a Weatherside Customs in Fort Collins. Includes an Ultimate Power inverter, 2x160W Renogy Solar Panels, 1x200AH Renogy Deep Cycle Pure Gel Battery, and is set up for both solar and shore power. 3 lights on easy-to-access switches cover the bed and kitchen/living area. There are USB chargers easily accessible in the kitchen, along with a standard plug-in on the inverter. Refrigerator is not included, but wiring is all set for one. 

Climate Control: The Maxxair Maxxfan will keep the air flowing, and the Truma Propane Heater will keep you comfortable on those cold winter nights. The rear passenger area is insulated with 3M Thinsulate. The roof is painted white to help keep it cool in the summer. I have insulated window coverings (not pictured) that will be included. The original rear AC from the van is still installed and working great to help pre-cool it before you shut down for the night.

Bed: Fits a queen size mattress, providing a VERY comfortable sleeping situation for two! (Mattress not included)

Kitchen: Beautifully finished butcher block countertops sit atop the custom cabinetry. Foot pedal sink provided that connects to the 30 gallon fresh water tank, and can empty into either a small gray water storage tank or to the ground. 

3 huge drawers, 4 smaller drawers, and a utensil drawer provide plenty of organized storage. There are also 3 smaller open cabinets for odds n ends. The condenser on the refrigerator went out, but the van is wired for a refrigerator and has anchor points ready to go for the fridge of your choice!

Flooring: One of the best decisions made was opting for the Smartcore flooring! It provides a comfortable, easy to clean surface and is extremely durable. 

The best part of the van is the HIGH ROOF and EXTENDED LENGTH. You will not be sorry! This made traveling with ALL the bikes and gear for two people to go on multi-sport adventures possible. The dual rear wheels handled great in all weather conditions, and provide extra stability in cross-winds (you’ll be happy for this if you ever drive I-80).
