The Van is approximately 19′ 8″ long. Interior stand up height is approximately 5′ 11″. It easily fits in regular parking spaces.
The Van handles more like a car— and the powerful Twin Turbo engine makes merging, climbing hills and mountains easy.

We have traveled all over the USA in our Van visiting National Parks. The mileage is mainly Interstate highway miles — which means less wear and tear on the vehicle. In addition to the cross country miles, we live one mile from I-55 which we frequently travel on with our Van.
The MPG varies between around 18- 21 miles per gallon — it depends how you drive.
This Van is set up to be a versatile vehicle:
- Camper Van.
- Cargo Van for business or deliveries. Everything can be removed from van in about 20 minutes. Two beds are attached to van wall tie downs with straps. Fridge-Freezer is free standing. Sink Cabinet is bolted to van wall rivets with 4 bolts behind the water containers — very simple and easy.
- Daily Driver Van + Camper Van + Cargo Van.
- Blank Canvass that can be made into anything that you want your Van to be.
Camper Van Conversion Items:
- Dual Ford Batteries — These batteries power the ARB fridge-freezer and the MaxFan roof ventilator. These two appliances use very little power.
- ARB Fridge Freezer — 50 Quart capacity. Still works fantastic– uses very little battery power. Also, can be used on 120 volt shore power at campgrounds and at home. We have even taken it out of the Van and used it as a spare fridge at home.
- MaxxFan — This is an air exhaust or air intake fan that works perfectly and has many features. It also has a remote control with 10 fan speeds.
- 120 volt electric dual receptacle mounted near the fridge area. There is an electric plug mounted on the driver exterior wall near the rear where a power cord can be plugged in and connected to shore/home power. The wire from the electric plug to the receptacle is 12 gauge non metalic cable.
- Two Beds — Solid frame using 3/4 inch Oak plywood. Mattresses are 8 inch thick Bamboo brand. Blankets, pillows and towels are not included.
- Reflectix covered ceiling and behind Van walls.
- Reflectix window coverings.
- Magnet held mosquito netting for driver and passenger windows.
- Big Kahuna Portable Shower – Use it inside or outdoors with 12 volt power cord’
- Thetford Portable Toilet Model 365 with cloth cover.
- Sink Cabinet with marine grade stainless steel sink and marine grade manual hand pump.
- Fresh water 5 gallon container and 5 gallon waste water container under the sink.
- Privacy toilet curtain.
- Privacy curtain behind front seats.
- 12 volt power outlets.
The Van has been exclusively serviced at Ron Tirapelli Ford in Shorewood, Il. New Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Snow tires were bought at Belle Tire.
We have every service invoice and you are welcome to inspect them. The invoices are mainly for normal maintenance; oil changes; a complete brake job; spark plug replacements, and a complete coolant flush replacement.
The last Ford Dealer Multi Point Inspection was performed on April 25, 2024 and everything was in good condition.
The only slight ding is on the back door near the handle — the bicycle handlebars hit it — see photo.
We are reluctantly selling our Van because of our age and health issues — we no longer want to travel.
