Embrace the charm: are you looking for a campervan that has a very unique interior to hold all of your outdoor toys and is easily customizable?
I’ve got just the van for you! It has a one-of-a-kind design for sale—a white 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 that has been transformed into a mobile haven.
This van is an opportunity to embark on memorable road trips and establish side/backcountry base camps for outdoor activities.
Some of the van’s highlights from the past few years with me:
VAN VITALS:
Make: Dodge
Model: Sprinter 2500
Year: 2006
Color: White
Engine: Mercedes-Benz 2.7L inline 5cyl diesel (THIS IS THE LEGENDARY “MILLION MILE MOTOR”!)
Mileage: 195,xxx (just barely over 195,000 as of yesterday)
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain – Rear Wheel Drive
Fuel Type: Diesel
Size: 158″ wheelbase (extended backend), high-roof version with about 73″ of interior height
ENGINE WORK: I replaced the original plastic turbo resonator with a high-quality machined part that will not fail. Oil change and K&N air filter have all been changed in the last 1,000 miles. The radiator was replaced at 155,000. I have extensive engine work records since I purchased the vehicle at 90,000 miles.

– A 5-gallon water jug with a pump
– A pantry cabinet for easy access for cooking tools that is sealed with a food grade stain
– Magnetic knife strip attached to the wall

– A 2000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter so you can easily operate a laptop or other devices
– Multiple large storage compartments running front to back of the van (I kept my skis, paddle board, longboard, boogie board, winter gear and hiking gear stored in the compartments year-round)
– A hammock can be strung from attachments within the van as a work space
– A large vent above the bed generates good airflow for sleeping with a bug-screen
– A TORNADO 12-volt fan that provides excellent cooling airflow anywhere within the van
– A 12 volt Eberspacher diesel heater for staying warm in the winter
– A black sliding privacy curtain that separates the driver compartment from the rest of the van for privacy during
parked times
– Beautiful, good smelling cedar paneling along the walls
– Non-toxic denim insulation behind the cedar paneling

– 3 insulated sun screens for the front window and side windows
– An upgraded Pioneer head unit and 2 new front speakers
– A dash cam that automatically records all of your travel when you are driving (it turns off automatically when you stop driving)
EXTERIOR: It has a classic white finish exterior, though there are small blemishes here and there which are typical for the age of the vehicle. Speaking from experience, this van is extremely well-suited for urban stealth camping!
– 2 100W solar panels mounted on the top of the van
– Both headlights have been replaced within the past few years
– A new set of tires (including the full-sized spare) are new with a Tire warranty from Discount Tire (only 25k miles on them!)
– A tow-hitch with working electrical connections
– Racking is installed on both sides of the roof for extra storage
– The van was purchased from an AC repair company in Dallas, TX so there is NO rust whatsoever on the underside of the van.
– I upgraded the alternator to charge both the house and the starter batteries
– It comes with an adjustable ladder
The best part of all is that you don’t have to go through the hassle of registering the van and paying taxes or title transfer fees.
The van is registered in Montana as a LLC recreational vehicle with permanent tags so you never have to travel to Montana for emissions or safety checks. Since it is registered under an LLC, it is valid for you to have a personal residence in a different state.
The only obligation is to pay the annual registered agent fee ($49) and the LLC renewal fee ($50).

THINGS THAT NEED HELP:
– There is small crack in the bottom of the windshield (passenger side)
– The AC is cold but is slightly weak
– One of the glow plugs is stuck which throws an error code on the dashboard – I have had no issues down to 10 degrees F last year in Colorado.
Adventure-Ready! With all its quirks and charm, this campervan is more than just a mode of transportation—it’s a vessel for unforgettable adventures. While it may show its age in some aspects, it’s been well-maintained and is ready to take you on incredible journeys. Every adventure mobile has its own story, and this campervan is no exception. It may have its quirks and idiosyncrasies, but that’s part of what makes it special. Embrace the character and create your own narrative as you venture into the unknown!
Ready to begin your vanlife journey? If you’re ready to embark on an adventure filled with nostalgia and unexpected joys, this converted campervan is the perfect fit. Priced at a firm $19,000, the van offers a chance to explore the continent – perhaps the world – for those seeking the solace of the roads less traveled.
I am very much open to negotiating on the price, however I will only consider serious offers.
