2021 AWD Ford Transit 350
Finely crafted and meticulously built with high quality components. to enjoy a lifestyle of adventure in comfort and confidence. This van has been on a 3 month trip (10,000km) to the Baja this winter and performed beyond expectation. The conversions allow off grid fun for as long as you wish (or until you run out of water).
This Ford Transit 350 AWD was designed around adventure. The back cargo area holds 2 large e-bikes on a 6ft full extension heavy duty slides. A second slide out tray allows access to all other supplies, ie, bbq, fire pit, tools etc. The bikes can be charged from the battery bank with no drawn down deficiency.
Built on the largest transit model, an extended 148” wheelbase, with high roof for a roomy feel. Every detail was thought out for a couple who enjoys an adventurous lifestyle but craves comfort.
One owner, bought new in 2021 and spent 2022 doing the conversion to this epic adventure van.
The cabin is all electric and renewable energy powered with 4 x 100watt solar panels, a 2000watt inverter/charger charging 3 lithium ion batteries. In addition to solar, batteries are charged with a battery to battery 12V charging system from the alternator while driving so if there is no sunlight you still have power to run all you household appliances and charge your electronics.
The cabinetry was done by a professional cabinetmaker. Upper cabinets in brushed aluminum tambour with walnut trim. Lower cabinets and all other cabinetry in walnut. A custom piece of art works as the back splash in the galley.
