2018 Ram Promaster Camper Van

I’m a mid 60’s retiree who purchased this van bare in June 2021 with 40,000 fully serviced and well maintained miles. I searched many months to find a well cared for and low mileage van. I proceeded to build out with a simple, solid, and secure design and headed out on a biking and hiking road trip, returning to Seattle in June of 2022. The van performed flawlessly.

The van is in excellent condition. Every service and checkup and maintenance item has been completed since 2018 and I have the records to back this up.

The photos show the van along with various stages of the build. Extra effort was taken to reduce road noise and provide a solid base with five layers (Noico, MLV, Foam, 3/4 inch plywood, and rubber coin matting) Rather than cupboards with the hassle of doors I designed a plastic tub system that is remarkably compact and efficient. Everything is built extra simple, extra solid, and very secure. The rear garage can safely and firmly hold three bikes and four large containers along with two chairs, a table, and mats. On the back wall backpacks can be hung and the back doors hold extra storage and a mounted fully operational bike stand.

Also included is a passenger side swivel seat, a Dometic cooler that’s connected to a Yeti 1000 W lithium battery, heavy duty jumper cables, a portable butane stove with extra butane bottles, storage containers, a toilet bucket and special bags, a solid steering lock, front window sun blockers, high quality cookware and utensils, and a small vacuum cleaner.
