Ram Promaster 159'
This van build was just finished in March 2020 and it's spotless! The 2017 Ram Promaster 2500 has 28,237 miles, so it has a few more years under the Ram warranty (5 year, 60K mile warranty). 159in wheelbase allows it to have a full-size, memory foam mattress (52in wide x 71 in long), while still having a comfortable living area. The ceiling is 73.5 inches tall (Just shy of 6'2!).

Here are the key features:
-We chose the gas version, since the transmission in the gasoline version had better ratings, and we would be starting the van in very cold temps. We average 13.5-16.5 going 65-70mph on the interstate. Research showed me the diesel version would only get 3-5mpg better, so the extra fuel cost and increased exhaust particulates made it an easy decision to go with gas.
-Walls, ceiling, and floor have Rockville sound dampening pads: Makes for a quiet ride.
-Heavily insulated and air sealed. More than an average van build. Used entire sheets of R-3 rigid foam insulation on the floors and walls. And R-10 on the ceiling. Framing is bolted behind the insulation so that the entire insulation sheet could be used to reduce thermal bridging.
-High end, waterproof vinyl flooring used on top of cement fiber board to avoid any moisture issues with winter use.
-18in wide, live edge cherry dining table (locally sourced!). Breaks down and fits in cabinet, or can be set up outside with the maple base.
-Maple counter with sink and Ramblewood two burner propane stove (5lb tank)
-Custom maple cutting board with food grade safe oil.
-Two "RinseKit" tanks providing 1.6x2 gallons of water each (allows you to refill water from any source, including gas stations, rivers once filtered, etc). Advantages- no power needed unless you use the 12v heater, and you can use it for your bikes or trips in other cars. And this means you don't need to leave the heat on when leaving the van sit for a few days in the winter, you just take it inside since it's easily portable. -Sink drains into a 5 gallon storage bucket, which can easily be discarded to prevent any freezing common with other RV's in winter.
-Custom sewn curtains with velco so it offers 100% privacy.
-"Garage" can fit 2 mountain bikes and their wheels
-Many used vans on the market have been lived in, however this van was built to be sold as a new conversion- not a single person has slept in the van since it was painted. Many of the van retrofits I see for sale have limited storage and are meant for weekend trips, whereas this van is like a tiny house. There’s a ton of cabinets and pullout drawers. Since I knew my girlfriend and I would be living in this van (in raw, unfinished and unpainted state) for 1.5 months in sub freezing temps, for months I researched many variations of my favorite builds, favorite materials to make it comfortable, and then made further improvements while living in it to iron out any kinks. It's amazing and ready for you. Once we got home from our ski trip, I did another 200 hours of finish work to make it a 'brand new' conversion.
-$800 set of studded snow tires that are like new with 85% tread left. This van does great in the snow on its studded snows and FWD- chains are included for extreme situations.
-Stock tires have 17K miles on them. So approx 60% tread left.
-Deep Cycle RV battery charged by the Dual Battery Kit with Smart Isolator Relay. This means that any time the van is running, it is charging the vans 2nd, accessory battery. When the van shuts off, the connection stops to avoid any way of draining the batteries. This setup is amazing- the battery has never died on us, once. I avoid solar for vehicles going on ski trips since it's rarely sunny, and it does have an affect on gas mileage.
-Power Bright APS600-12, 600W Pure Sine Power Inverter 1200W to power your electronics. For larger appliances, we use the generator. Bulbs are LED's, and Christmas lights are LED's on a clapper setup.
-Custom shower curtain setup with velco at corners to provide use with the Rinse Kit (I've tested it at 7min at medium pressure)
-Motion RV Window professionally installed at their office for $600...includes a screen for ventilation!
-Has a 2 inch hitch, box for skis, and 6 foot wide roof rack bars to accommodate more bikes or a canoe/kayaks. I have bike racks for the roof if interested in adding to purchase.
-Recently inspected (3/2020) and underbody undercoated
-Upgraded the head unit to an Axxera AV6118Bi to improve sound quality, have a CD player, and have all of the Bluetooth functions that the stock system lacked.
-This van was built for ski trips in mind (spent an enormous amount of time making it airtight), so while driving, the rear of the van can get to over 92 degrees to dry out gear, and then at night when the van is off, and it's 30 degrees out, it will only drop to 45 degrees in the van after 8 hours of sleep. Running no heater at all. We used a heated blanket on 10-20 degree nights, and the included generator and an electric heater when it was sub 10 degrees. My girlfriend does not like being cold, and we camped for 1.5 months on a ski trip with her being comfortable. Thank the extra time I spent on insulation!
-Sale includes this $760 Ryobi, super quiet generator with ability to turn off using it bluetooth connection to your phone, so you don't need to go outside: https://www.amazon.com/Ryobi-Bluetooth-300-Watt-Generator-RYI2300BTA/dp/B0757FKTHN
-Sale also includes: Coleman stove for outdoor cooking along with table, small dehumidifier (we didn't use it but could be nice in the summer), brackets for roof rack, dish drying rack, manual clothes washer. Tire chains. $300 Maxxair fan that we chose not to install since it would affect insulation. The van does include screens for the side door and the rear door. Also have a 3 foot wide mountains/tree black/white graphic die cut to include.
-Not Included: Bikes (2019 Specialized is for sale separately), Yeti cooler, bike rack (I have roof racks I'd be willing to sell though), knives, comforter on bed.
Clean title is in hand. We will need to meet at a bank to make this transaction safe. Please ask a question or two in your email so that I know you're serious- don't just say call me. I work 2 jobs and I'd prefer to answer a few questions via email while at work before we set up a phone call or time to meet. Hope that's understandable!
